Angelic Blessing by SamC-Art Angelic Blessing by SamC-Art
Angel boy

EDIT: Went over this painting tonight, changed quite a few things that I'd been losing sleep over. Obviously the pose is still very blocky and dead-on, and I was unable to really salvage the face, but I'm pleased to have been able to iron out some creases

Great stuff Sam! Your lights and colors are great as always. Now I'm no expert but If I may...as Miles said, you could work a bit more on hands. Also the one other thing I immediately noticed on a thumbnail of the image is that the pose is a bit stiff and well...posed. As if he's standing there posing for someone to paint him. So I'd say work more on dynamic poses, motion and all that. But like I said...I'm no expert :)

Love how you painted the head though - the fact that you didn't blend everything together is great! Keep going man you are awesome, sir!
cheers!

Nice job, the hands could do with being a little less blocky and you could go even bigger on the wings. Great composition and colours though, and the idea is really clear :)
